Vacation Bible School 2012 – June 11-15

Your children are invited to join us for Vacation Bible School 2012! Come sail away with us this summer to Outrigger Island where kids will learn to know, speak, and live God’s truth. Based on Psalm 86:11, this tropical adventure will help kids develop the stability they need to become unshakeable in a world of shifting sands. Register online today!

Vacation Bible School is coming soon and we need your help! Below is a list of items that we need to help make VBS great this year. Please help us out and bring these items to church on Sundays. You may give your donated items to Becca Willis. To ensure we get things back to you, please label your items! Thank you!

Newspapers – We need these ASAP for an awesome papier-mache project!
Broken umbrellas
Beach balls
Beach towels
Fishing net
Grass skirts
Burlap mats
Tiki torches
Luau lanterns
Artificial plants and flowers
Large styrofoam balls
Several large cardboard boxes
Any beach or Hawaiian decorations

Parents’ Night Out – February 11

An adoption fundraiser for the Eagens and Gottschalls

When: Saturday, February 11, 2012
6:00pm – 10:00pm
Where: Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Nursery
Cost: $20 for the 4 hours for the first child; $10 more for the second child; $40 cap for all remaining siblings

Light snacks will be provided. Games and movies for older children. Childcare will be provided by the Ness/Eagen life group.

Please call Erin at 615-476-1916 or Courtney at 478-213-3133 if you plan to bring your children so they can prepare with enough workers and snacks. Thank you for helping the Eagens and Gottschalls bring their children home!

Children’s Ministry – Workers Needed

Our children’s ministry is currently in need of the following:

A teacher for the Sunday 2-3 year old 9am class
A teacher for the Sunday 3 year old 10am class
Two workers for the Awana third and fourth grade girls class

Vacation Bible School 2011

Your children are invited to join us for Vacation Bible School 2011! With Gold Rush, kids will learn the answer to that most important question Jesus asks: “Who do you say that I am?” They’ll be saturated with the truth as they discover the biblical responses to life’s important questions. We’ll have games, snacks, crafts, Bible time, and more! Also, join us for our carnival and cookout on the last day of VBS!

Awana Ice Cream Kick-Off: October 3

Come to the kick-off for our Awana program for the 2010-2011 school year! We will be celebrating with ice cream for the kids involved in Awana and for their parents!

Vacation Bible School 2010

Your children are invited to join us for Vacation Bible School 2010! Journey with us as we travel to Egypt in this Vacation Bible School thriller, The Egypt File: Decoding the Mystery of Life. Amidst this exotic location and ancient civilization, we will tackle some of the most mysterious and intriguing questions known to man regarding human life. Be sure to invite the children in your neighborhood!

When: June 21-25, 2010, 6:30-8:30pm
Where: LCF

For the first four nights at VBS, we will be collecting food to help people in our community. We are gathering this food to provide Thanksgiving dinner this year for families in need. We will be collecting different things each day. Please help us bless those in our community by bringing food each night:

Monday, June 21: Canned vegetables

Tuesday, June 22: Boxed mashed potatoes or stuffing

Wednesday, June 23: Cranberry sauce

Thursday, June 24: Brownies, cake mix, or icing
