Ladies’ Kindness Outreach – Dec. 15

The ladies will be passing out Christmas ornaments to the Lighthouse Christian School parents as they drop of their children on December 15 from 6:00 to 8:00am. Just a smile and a Merry Christmas is all the talent you need. Come help us let LCF parents know that we love and are thankful for them and their children! (Ornaments will be made at our Make-It-and-Take-It Event.)

Thanksgiving Boxes – Photos

Thank you to everyone who donated food for our Thanksgiving boxes, and to all those who helped put them together and deliver them to families in need! We were able to provide a Thanksgiving meal to many families in the area thanks to your help!

Walk4Souls, September 18

Walk4Souls is an annual 5k walk event in Nashville with the purpose of mobilizing Christians to walk and pray for the salvation of family and friends while raising support to share the message of the Gospel around the world. Half of the money we raise in the walk goes to support missions at LCF.

Mark Bryant is organizing the LCF group at this event. Please contact him at 615-823-1025 if you have any questions. If you wish to take part in this event, you can register online, or you can get a registration form from Mark on Sundays at church.

We held a soccer tournament with 6 international churches from the Nashville area.  This event was truly incredible,  with believers from all over the world playing together and enjoying one another on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  Our desire is to encourage relationships between the LCF family and local refugees through a variety of means, and to make connections with international communities in our city who have not yet experienced the love and good news of Jesus.  There is room for you in this ministry – email David at dakaufmann@lighthouseministries.org  to find out more.

Cross Cultural Connections

refugeegirl-739166 You’ve heard alot about the thousands of refugees pouring into our community from all over the world.  Ever wondered what you could do to help – how your family might be impacted by connecting with an international family in need?  Now, at LCF you have the chance to find out.

We are beginning a new ministry team called Cross-Cultural Connections.  Those interested in joining will be made aware of ministry opportunities with international families in Nashville.  Opportunities like – teaching English, meeting new families at the airport, meeting for dinner, and more.  Call the church office if you are interested in joining Cross Cultural Connections.
