Sunday 9am Class – Esther

Beginning August 29, 2010, the women’s ministry will be working through the Beth Moore study on the book of Esther during their 9am class on Sundays.

Below is the publisher’s description of the study.

Join Beth in a very personal examination of the Old Testament story of Esther as she peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story is to our lives today. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.

This fall we had a blast at our first annual Women’s Retreat in Chattanooga, TN.  Robyn Turner was the guest speaker, who focused on the gift of living as SHE – a woman clothed in Strength and Honor and living as an expression of Effervescent worship.  A weekend of laughing, playing, crying, and worshiping together helped everyone to leave refreshed and ready to follow Jesus.
