Ladies’ Kindness Outreach – Feb. 14
We need a few ladies to help hand out Valentine chocolate candy hearts on February 14, from 6:30am to 8:30am. If you are interested, please see Liz Minor.
Ladies’ Precept Class – Tuesdays
The ladies will be studying the eight-week Kings and Prophets Series called “A Divided Heart, a Divided Nation” (1 Kings 1-15:8, 2 Chronicles 1-13). What happens when your heart is divided? What lessons can we learn for our lives today from the examples of Solomon, Rehoboam, Jeroboam, and Abijam? What does God do when His people trust their own judgement and disobey Him?
When: Tuesdays, 9:15am – 11:45am (Starts February 7)
Where: Nursery at LCF
Cost: $26
The course will be led by Donna Christianson. If you have any questions, please contact Laurie Waldron.
Ladies’ Kindness Outreach – Dec. 15
The ladies will be passing out Christmas ornaments to the Lighthouse Christian School parents as they drop of their children on December 15 from 6:00 to 8:00am. Just a smile and a Merry Christmas is all the talent you need. Come help us let LCF parents know that we love and are thankful for them and their children! (Ornaments will be made at our Make-It-and-Take-It Event.)
Ladies’ Make It and Take It – Dec. 10
All ladies are invited to gather for coffee and a bite as we get together for fellowship, to share the joy of the season, and to create a Christmas ornament to take home or give to a friend. We are asking each lady to please bring $3 to cover the cost of the ornaments. We will also be putting together a small gift for the families at Lighthouse Christian School as a kindness outreach. So if you enjoy fellowship, would like to get to know some other ladies and be part of a kindness outreach, or just want another ornament, please come.

Sunday 9am Class – Esther
Beginning August 29, 2010, the women’s ministry will be working through the Beth Moore study on the book of Esther during their 9am class on Sundays.
Below is the publisher’s description of the study.
Join Beth in a very personal examination of the Old Testament story of Esther as she peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story is to our lives today. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.
