Family Life

Whether it is God saving “Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives” (Gen 7:7) or it is Peter proclaiming at Pentecost “the promise is for you and for your children” (Acts 2:39), it is clear God is interested in saving and sanctifying families.But life cannot and is not lived in a vacuum. Either the church will define the family and it’s related parts by the authority of the Word of God or the world will do it through the seductive power of media.

This being the case, we believe that the Word of God, being our foundation and essential tool for accomplishing the reconciliation of humanity to God through the Gospel of His Son Jesus Christ is also the primary tool of accomplishing our sanctification as well.  Therefore the preaching and faithful teaching of the Word of God is the centerpiece of the Family Life Ministry here at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.
